Collection: Infinia Guitars

Infinia is three years old and already one of the more interesting things happening in European guitar building.

Founded in 2023 by Brian van Zwietering, Daan van Dijk and master luthier Maikel van der Wel, based in Terneuzen in the Netherlands, the brand went public in September 2025. The Ceres and Neptune shapes come from the retired Padalka Guitars catalogue, whose original designer Daria Padalka licensed the designs to Infinia on one condition: production had to stay in Europe. It did.

Guitar Freaks is one of only four Infinia dealers in Europe, alongside Zjons in the Netherlands, Andertons in the UK and Pro Music Tools in Germany. We are a real boutique in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, run by the team behind Bass Freaks, shipping worldwide. Not the Konami arcade game. Instruments.

The Infinia range

Model Headstock Scale Notes
Ceres Headed 25.5 or 26.5 inch, straight 6 or 7 string. The classic outline of the pair, and the one most people try first.
Neptune Headless 25.5 or 26.5 inch, straight 6 or 7 string. Same construction, lighter and better balanced.
Titan Multiscale 27 to 25.2 inch on 7 string, 26 to 24.8 on 6 Designed for Infinia by Sheldon Dingwall as a one-off commission. Neutral at the 10th fret, shorter overall than a standard S-style.

What is actually in an Infinia

The construction is the same across the line and it is not the usual list. Chambered ash body with a flame maple top, a nine-piece bolt-on neck in maple, mahogany and black maple, a black Richlite fingerboard with a 20 inch radius, 24 medium-jumbo stainless frets and a 44 mm Black Tusq nut. Pickups are Infinia's own: Icarus at the bridge and Nautilus at the neck on the Standard, Avalon and Exelion on the Modern. Left-handed costs nothing extra, which should be standard everywhere and is not. Every instrument ships with a Reunion Blues Expedition bag.

Infinia questions we actually get asked

Where are Infinia guitars made?

Designed in the Netherlands and built in Europe. Infinia does not publish the workshop location and we are not going to guess in public. The European build was a contractual condition of the Padalka design licence, so it is not a marketing line, it is in the paperwork.

What is the link with Padalka Guitars?

Padalka Guitars is retired. Daria Padalka, who created the concepts behind most of the catalogue including the Ceres and Neptune shapes, licensed those designs to Infinia when the brand wound down, on the condition that production stayed in Europe. She is the original designer of the shapes, not an ongoing member of the Infinia team. If you owned a Padalka and missed it, this is the closest thing that exists.

Who designed the Titan?

Sheldon Dingwall, as an exclusive one-off commission for Infinia. It is a multiscale, 27 to 25.2 inches on the 7 string and 26 to 24.8 on the 6, with the neutral point at the 10th fret and an overall length shorter than a traditional S-style. Dingwall is not a partner or an owner of Infinia. He designed this one instrument for them.

Ceres or Neptune?

Identical construction, identical scale options, identical electronics. The Ceres has a headstock, the Neptune does not. That means the Neptune is lighter, shorter overall and sits differently on a strap, and the Ceres looks like what most people picture when they picture a guitar. Play both, pick the one that feels right. There is no wrong answer here.

How long is the wait?

All models are currently built to order with a lead time of around six months. That is what happens when a small European workshop is the only place these are made. We handle the order and keep you updated rather than leaving you refreshing an email inbox.

Can I get one left-handed?

Yes, at no additional cost. A tone control is a 50 euro option if you want one.

If you are also looking at

The other European workshop on our wall is Mayones, so Mayones guitars if you want handbuilt from Gdansk instead of Terneuzen. If the appeal is the extended range rather than the provenance, Legator guitars get you there for less. And if you want the modern build in a classic outline, Suhr guitars. The full range is on the electric guitars page.

Buying Infinia from Guitar Freaks

We are one of four European Infinia dealers, which means there are not many places on this continent where you can actually see one before ordering. Ours is in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, and we ship worldwide. Come and play it, or talk to us and we will spec your build properly the first time. We answer like humans, because we are some.
