Two D'Addario ideas in one strap. The Auto Lock end locks onto the strap button with nothing to install, and the swivel loop sits between the strap body and that end so the strap cannot twist. If the top strap button on your instrument is mounted on the back of the body rather than the horn, that swivel is the whole reason this strap exists: a fixed end forces the leather into a permanent quarter turn, a swivel does not.

Soft garment leather rather than foam padding. It is thin, it does not bulk up under a jacket, and it gets better with use.

D'Addario is explicit about this and so are we: Auto Lock will not work with end pin jacks or plastic strap buttons. If the rear strap button on your instrument doubles as the output jack, this strap is not for you. It works with most metal strap buttons, but D'Addario does not guarantee every design.

Worth noting that the leather Comfort Swivel is not carried by the large European boxes. If you want to compare it against a Thomann price, there is not one.
