The pitch
The Quad Cortex went to the gym, then it shrank. As a result, you get 620 grams of Neural Capture in something that fits next to your tuner, and frankly, that's not supposed to be possible. However, here we are.
First, Neural Capture comes onboard : the same engine that made the Quad Cortex a tour-bus standard, now in a unit you can throw in a gig bag. Then, plug in your amp, capture it, and walk out with a profile that breathes like the real thing. Meanwhile, the Neural Cortex Cloud app handles presets, firmware, and community patches from your phone.
On top of that, NanOS 2.0.0 just turned the Nano into a different animal. In addition, you get 47 new effects and utilities, fully customisable Pre and Post slots, a built-in input gate that doesn't eat a slot, and Global Cab Bypass. Consequently, what was already a stunning portable modeler is now a fully-featured rig that happens to weigh less than a hardback book.
In short : home practice, fly dates, hotel-room writing sessions, backup rig in the gig bag. Plug in, capture, get on with the music.
